Ghost of an Ocean / Return to Pangea was described to me by Jerry that you could imagine that you were on Cowes Seafront and it's foggy and their are some big ships moving around out there in the dark.
The second track has that distinct Cahill style running through it and is another variation on Ghost of an Ocean.
Tracks:Ghost of an Ocean / Return to Pangea; Ghost of an Ocean; The Enchanter; Prayer for Annie; The Irishman In the Cupboard; The Shifting Sands; Escape From Harehills; Breath of Fire; Hour of the Pearl; Sunset Over D.B's; Transiberia. The last 4 tracks feature Paul Barnes on Tabla and percussion. Jerry spent several years in Leeds performing under the name of NADA. The whole CD takes me back to those heady days at The Chequers in Rookley when the Folk Club would have Jerry performing and his father Leo reciting his poems. Thats not say that this CD is out of date, far from it as it would hold it's own on the Cambridge, Sidmouth circuit easily.
Jerry has performed at Glastonbury on the green stage and is provisionally booked to play for Vaguely Sunny in July.
Footnote
Jerry and I met by chance in the Brittania in Cowes where Wroathie and Duncan were performing. We arranged to meet at the Union and Jerry and i discussed a wide number of issues from his days in Leeds. I think that Vic and I should link Jerry up with Max Brennan and the Holistic guys and I'm sure both would be interested in each other.
